Show Development & Production

I develop and executive produce both live and pre-recorded shows and series around global news events for a variety of social platforms, including Instagram, Instagram Stories, Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, and Twitch. I also script, shoot, direct, edit, and host several of the shows.

BuzzFeed News Presents: Royal Wedding Live Show 2018

I acted as the executive producer and showrunner for BuzzFeed News’ Royal Wedding 2018 live show, which was live streamed on Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, and Twitch. The three-hour live show consisted of 20+ live and pre-recorded segments and garnered more than 750,000 views across platforms.

2017 Catalonia Independence Declaration Live Show

Following Catalonia’s unilateral declaration of independence from Spain on October 27, 2017, I hosted a three-hour live show around the news event, answering audience questions from social media.

The live show became the first ever BuzzFeed News live stream to surpass 1 million views on Twitter and holds the record for the longest average watch time of more than 13 minutes.

TGIF: Good News To End Your Week On

“TGIF: Good News To End Your Week On” was a story series developed for the BuzzFeed @world Instagram. Hosted on Fridays by BuzzFeed News video producer Liza Hicks in Toronto, the series recapped feel good stories that happened throughout the week for audiences to end their week on a positive note.

I developed, edited the script, edited, produced, and distributed the show from London.
